I recently bought a game that says it requires an IBM or 100% compatible pentium 90 MHz or better, window's 95 and DirectZ3.0aor highter. I can load the game but it only gets so far until it interrupts the game because I have window's xp. Is there any sort of software that I can download to make it so that I can play this game with window's xp?
Depends on the game, you can try compatibility mode. Right click on the executbable file then select properties and go to the compatibility tab. Tick where it says run in compatibility mode for Windows 95. You can also check http://www.ntcompatible.com/compatibility.html Many times that site will have suggestions for running problem games under NT/2000/XP
really? This is the only game I have that runs 95 but the sales guy told me it would run under xp. So if I cant find a way to get it to run for me I guess I'll have to go back and flog the guy.
