Hey guys, I just finished building a new i5 750 pc, w/ Radeon 4850 gpu 4GB ram, windows 7 ultimate etc. I have never had any interest in Pc gaming, because I never liked the idea of using a keyboard etc. however, starting to think about trying something out. I was wondering if someone could recommend a good game to try out for me. I would like to try something that isnt a FPS, but something like a more slow paced, easy learning curve, easy controls etc. Fairly current, good graphics and sound etc. Does anyone have any recommendations?
There are a few free games that I like that you may enjoy. TrackMania has a free version available that is very fun to play. It is a racing game. There is also a company called Nexon that makes free games. My favorite, a FPS, is Combat Arms but a lot of people like the game Maple Story that they make. That should be plenty to get you started without having to fork out any money on games.
hey there, thanks for getting back to me. I'm actually in the middle of 2 games. Started Dragon Age, (only at the very beginning) and have been playing torchlight a bit. Both seem ok so far. Thanks again!
It depends on what genre of games you like. But games I personally like are: (there are older games included, not so eyecandy but gameplay is nice) Code: - Call of Duty 4 & Modern Warfare 2 - Divinity 2 - Dragon Age: Origins - Dungeon Siege 1 (+expansion), 2 - FEAR 1, 2 - Left 4 Dead 1, 2 - Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - Mass Effect 1, 2 - Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst (not officially supported by SEGA anymore, but theres private servers. pm me if you would like to know) - Rise of the Argonauts - Risen - Serious Sam HD - Starcraft 2 (BETA) - Supreme Commander - The Last Remnant - The Witcher - Torchlight - Trine - Wolfenstein It's a big list, so check em out individually when you've time. And enjoy your new PC to the maximum!
