"GAME VIDEOS" Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

    Hi, im trying to install Prince of Persian warrior within and when the 3rd cd is going through its installation process an error message appears reading:

    DATE ERROR (cyclic redundancy check)

    i am computer "thick" so could someone e-mail me with a solution to the problem, but please use language that you would use to a five year old as my IT knowledge is pretty useless. Thanks to anybody that can help.

    Normally CRC errors mean a scratched or a dirty disk.

    yeah spot on. gave the CD a good cleaning just using a kleenex "BALSAM" tissue. Worked immediately. Thanks for the advice.
