I am trying to make a backup of an original game. I have ripped the files to my xbox. I used qwix to make the iso. I then used Nero to burn the image. when I put the disc in my xbox it just loads to my evox dashboard like there is no game in there. I know that my xbox can play the dvd-r I am using because my friend has made some backups for me in the past. Is there any suggestions.
I would do what flashed said. A lot of times people who use Nero to make backup images have problems. I always use DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120 to burn the Xbox image. Check out this guide for using Craxtion: http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/backupxboxgames.htm
I aint never had any probs with nero. Make sure that your game region settings in evo X are set to "auto" not "NTSC" or "Pal". by the way, what game is it exactly?
