gamecube memory card

my memory card keeps askin me to format it and wen i do try to format it says object may not have been formatted then it says that the object in whatever slot cannot be used

 

then get a new memory card, they aren't THAT expensive, sheesh!

 

have you tride blowing the memory card and then putting it in cos that wot i did and it work
