Any mod chip would work fine.

If you want to get around using a chip, maybe you'll have or want to get one or more of the following.
    -Action Replay Max
-Max Drive Pro (USB enabled one)
    -PSO Ep. I & II

If you wanted to, you could just get an Action Replay, load GCoS onto it, and run emulators and roms off a mini DVD.

Actually, I just remembered you could use SDLoader to load emulators and roms off an SD card. Wouldn't know how to get it up and running though since I prefer using DVD-Rs with a qoob Pro.

Also, mod chips don't have enough onboard memory to run roms off of it. Not effectively anyway. You'd still end up having to use recordable DVDs.

For your purposes, the SDLoader is probably your best best.

tou wouldnt be able to put many of them on the qoobpro internal memory, if u want that either burn a disk or run them off the SD card
