GameManager - No Force R/W?

I've loaded several games successfully with the M3 Game manager before, but for some reason I no longer see the ' force R/W ' option on the second page. I've uninstalled the manager, and tried loading versions 32B, 34D, and 35E. I get the same results. I DID see the force R/W in the past. I've been downloading the software from the
' M3Wiki ' page. I'm stumped, what the heck is wromg?

The Gamemanager only shows the Force R/W for games released after each revision of the Gamemanager, the M3 team removes the option for older games as they apply the patch automatically for games known to need it.

Thanks for the clear explanation. It's difficult to follow the various itterations, and there is no clear explanation of this.
Question-if you rename the game file, removing the leading number, before running it thru game manager, will it still know what to do? I just tried writing the Theme Park game, and it will not work. The M3wiki site says ' force R/W ' is needed, and I thought this was the problem. Guess not.

Renaming a game before or after makes no difference to how it works (if you have any previous save files you would need to rename those too though)

When you updated the gamemanger did you update the M3 firmware too? If not that would be your problem.

I've never read up properly on the Pro range but I still would have thought they could be updated, have you ever tried?

If they cannot be updated your going to run into problems with more games, not just Theme Park.

EDIT: Just double checked and the ONLY difference between the Perfect and Pro is the RAM amount, which does not effect updates, so you should be able to update with no problems.

An update...I was able to get Theme Park to work. I had to first apply the arm7 patch to the file, then follow the instructions on M3wiki.
