Tried searching for this scenario but I could't find it...

I got hit with an AP2.5 flag for a failed AP2.5 check on either ACB or NFS, running LT. The flag was checked on XVal. I loaded LT+ (Liteon8450c) immediately when I realized the console was flagged (I know, why did I bother? I wanted to play AP2.5 backups as long as possible before the unit was banned.). So, I prepared new backups with updated abgx360 or patches with AP25 SS's added. The console has since been online playing these and other games but has not been banned. I recently tried to move my online profile on an MU to another console but found it corrupted. Note that I've played online with this "corrupted" profile, which doesn't show as corrupted on the flagged console.

What I don't understand is that the console is not yet bannned but the profile is corrupted. Does the flag immediately corrupt profiles prior to getting banned?

Didn't even consider it since I have been able to login into live and play games online...

try recovering it. it can sometimes become corrupt while transferring, its happened to me and all it takes is a recovery and its back to normal.

I'm pretty sure it was day-one news about profile corruption back when the new dash released.

I remember reading something, but I'm not sure what you're getting at. Can you explain further?

It happened to me, when you fail a AP2.5 check on the older ixtreme CFW, your profile is corrupted (profile won't be recognized on other Xbox's except the one it failed the AP2.5 check on). You can later uncorrupt it using 360 Xplorer and what not and it will be fine.

I tried to bring the profile over to another console on a memory unit when I found that it was corrupted. I wasn't familiar with un-corrupting the profile using XPlorer so I just "recovered gamertag" from Live onto the new console. It restored successfully, based on the last instance the profile was used on Live, which was well after my original console was flagged. What I haven't done is bring this profile back to the flagged console, which I'm sure will corrupt the profile again....or will it?

No, after uncorrupting it, it will be fine I did the samething. Just don't fail another AP2.5 check.

I have had a different experience to shcklfrd, who posted above.

I was one of the first people to get hit with AP2.5. In my case, when I moved my gamertag over to the flagged system, booting any game would cause the gamertag to become corrupt. I didn't have to boot an AP2.5 game (only Fable 3 was AP2.5 at the time) in order for the corruption to occur once the system was flagged for failing the AP2.5 challenge.

As for the console not being banned, there's people having issues with unmodded consoles and retail discs where the anti-piracy protection is being triggered, so perhaps that is no longer enough to guarantee a ban, as they'd be banning legit consoles. Also, I think they still ban in waves, so it could just be that the console's days are numbered.
