I heard that Microsoft scrapped the charges on Games For Windows Live. Does that mean I can finally play Halo 2 on the PC online for free? Is the "Gold" account that you had to pay for now free so I can create games without having to subscribe to anything?

About time Microsoft did that. They're already a multi-billion dollar company and yet wants money for every little thing they do.

    Thanks for the link.

Well...I don't know how smart that is though. You know? Xbox users are still paying. Now we are better off, but I don't think they will be too happy. They made a lot of money charging for the xbox subscriptions because people had to buy them. For Windows Live, most people just stuck to the free Silver membership. All of these different online systems are troublesome and none of them are perfect. I am happy with this though. I don't have an Xbox. =]

I don't have an Xbox either, I have the PS3 but I feel this is good on Microsoft's part. I don't care if Xbox users have to pay, they didn't pay $xxx on an operating system!
