My CD-ROM games have issues booting...I have the latest drivers and greatly exceed the specs...have the latest patches...no software or hardware problem. What the heck! If you guys have any ideas, post.

    Thanks.

You know when they get to that 1/4 size of your monitor screen thats right in the center stating its name. When it gets there the game gets no further and dosn't respond.

It's all of the games that have good graphics, such as Quake, and BF2, yet the games that have better graphics that I have as downloaded demos (not CD-ROMs) are just alright and running at 75 fps. different manufacturers

I'm running 1280by1024... thats because I have a fairly big LCD. In other words the screen that comes up states the name of the game then crashes the it. This has never happened before...or I get to play the game for about 10 mins and then It crashes my entire system.

And I'm going to update my sig because I just put in one more gig. HEHE
