Hi, everytime I try to play a game fullscreen, it shows off far right and is not displayed correctly. When i launch a game, the whole game screen is positioned to the right. ___________________ [oooooooooool This....] [oooooooooool Area....] [oooooooooool is........] [oooooooooool where..] [oooooooooool game...] [oooooooooool shows..] [oooooooooool_______] Sorry for the crude post but when i try to make a in game screenshot, it manages to take picture of whole game screen. This problem persists in Quake 4 and Turok (newest one) I tried updating drivers, and im running on vista, Nvidia 8800gts 640 mb. I run my computer on a 17 in widescreen monitor with everything always on 1440x900. The games worked perfectly fine but this just started all of a sudden.
lol ok... firstly i dont think your screen resolution and game res are the same. a standard screen (4.3) can output 640 by 480, 800, by 600, 1280 by 1024 and still show the full image but with less quality the lower the res. if you start putting wide-screen resolutions into a non-widescreen screen then you'll have display problems.wide-screen res such as 1280 by 800 (16.10). you are best off putting the screen res and the game res the same. it is is slow and you screen is a (4.3) aspect ratio then try either of the following. Highest quality at the top:- 1280 1024 800 600 640 480 EDIT: i dunno the res for (16.9) wide screen but if you've got (16.10) ,you could try 1280 by 800
