So I just started attaining PS2 Games and I want to know what Japanese games out there have a working English Patch or at least one in progress. I'll probably use this for my own personal use and list games I find on here (I should be updating it every now and then). I'd be more than happy to test English Patches on my PS2 for these guys. hey, persona 3 has an english patch available, i'm looking for the namco x capcom patch myself. the transgen.awardspace site is down as of right now. i hope it comes back up soon, cause it seems that they're done or close to being done with the patch. as far as the persona patch, i downloaded a patched version of it. now, as far as installing the patch yourself, i would imagine you'd install it the same way you would install any other patch. you probably would start by opening the iso in isobuster, dragging all of the files into nero burning rom,(one by one in the order of appearence) & replacing the original file with the patch.
as soon as i get the chance to patch namco x capcom successfully,(or any game)i'll upload how i did it step by step.
Yea, I have been waiting for the Namco X Capcom English patch also. I would assume the easiest way to patch games is using PPF-O-Matic or something like that.
yeah, i've used ppf-o-matic with shadow of rome. i had a hard time with that one, but it was a learning experience. i finally got it to work 100% after waisting alot of dvd-rs. but yeah, as soon as i get the chance to repatch nxc, i'll post on how i did it & were i got the patch, i'll assume you'll do the same.
