Games wont load goes to green memory screen

    hi can anybody help?

    i have an xbox(the black one) and the games will not load, it goes directlly to a green screen which has the settings like: time/date, memory, xbox live etc...

    it use to work. have tried numerous games.

    thanks everyone in advance for any suggestions.

    is it modded? if so chipped or soft?
    does the disk spin?
    if you set the clock and restart does anything happen?
