Gaming laptop advice.

    i want to buy a laptop that can be used for gaming, i looked at the dell xps series, especially the XPS M1730 but this starts at 1.1k and once customerized it is nearly 2k... is there anyother brand that will have top end performance but cheaper prices?
    i am willing to spend around 1000£

    there really aren't any gaming laptops that are around 1000 bucks...check out some HP laptops...they seem to be the cheapest...if not..i personally like SONY :D

    Recetnly there is a price drop for the Dell xps 1530 seris, you can have a look at them, they are around your budget.

    The M1730 is really your only option if you're a serious gamer, as in laptops around that specification. The M1530 is OK, but far from exemplary.
