gaming with a 754 socket

    Ok I don't have a lot of cash, but I want to have a Pc capable of good gaming. Can I do this with 754 socket or must I have a 939 socket?

    You can game with a 478 socket, if you want.

    I have a 754 socket pc and can play quake 4 and half life 2, just make sure the graphics card is up to the job!

    not really down to the processor, so long as you have a good graphics card any modern pc is good for gaming
