Gateway Recovery Help + Support Is A Joke

    I recently was given a gateway laptop for free. seeing as i didnt have a computer of my own i took it. After 2 months of use it would stop at the windows xp loading screen. I tried to recover but it would even boot it up. I took out the hard drive and formated it.

    I then Used the reovery disk, i had used it once before and it loaded all the drivers and everything back to PC. So this time i thought it was going to be the same proccess. I was wrong. All it did was re-install windows. no drivers, no software, nothing.

    I tried calling gateway support, ha its a joke as some of you may know. No online chat for out of warranty products, and $60 for 30 mintues of "support". the model is MX6920. if someone could help me i would really aprreciate it

    H08 - reduce the size of the sig it's over the allowed limits. For the limits on the sigs see the link in my sig.

    sounds like gateway they suck !!!!! sorry that your having so much problems with that laptop
    hope you get it fixed and good luck.

    I have a question for you, do you think you recovery disk would work on my laptop.
    I am in dire need of a set of recovery disks ?

    Model Mx6436 .
