I've heard it's reliable, but isn't designed for anything besides multimedia.

that is only the CF version, the picture shown is of the SD version, which you cannot play the ROMs on.

Also, you can't use the ROMs on the GBAMP CF on the newer DS's or DS Lite unless the DS is Flashed, but to flash the DS you need a Passkey2, but the Passkey2 dosn't work with the GBAMP ¬_¬

your right you need have your ds flashed or have a passcard to get to play the roms on u're nds i just got the new mini sd version of the gbamp fits into my indiglo blue ds perfectly i thought you were talking about the gbamp

    http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=6&products_id=3983

but get the other one not the one from lik sang it comes with moonshell installed so you can listen to music and watch movies easy. don't get a passcard 2 get the max media loader from datel is cheaper and works with the gbamp cf cd or mini sd

How do you know what version you have? Is that just for the roms or all multimedia?

The GBAMP comes as a CF or SD version though, and the CF version can, after a bit of hackery play NDS roms.

The M3 is made by the same people as the GBAMP and they designed the M3 to play NDS roms perfectly, and this comes as CF, SD, and miniSD - All capable of playing NDS games without any hacking needed.
