Hi, I just installed my Viper Extrmeme chip (see my other post on backing up, really need help!) and put my cube back together. (naturally) Everything worked fine, until I opened up my AR, put in some new codes, and pressed "start game." Anyone who has and AR will know that at this point it will say "open lid." Of course, I opened the lid. But my AR didn't sense it! I've tried everything, and was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. The most frustrating thing; if I poke around the area where my chip is resting, every now and then it works! Like magic!! I just don't get it... If you have solutions to EITHER of my problems msg me asap cause I really need help!

I used a regular sized case, same old case. all I did was saughter the chip in, and put it back together. it's weird, because my gc still reads discs, but when I pop the lid open the laser doesn't stop goin like it used to , and as said above my ar can't tell that the lid is open.

maybe the chip is solderd in wrong? check the connects. or maybee your casr is miss-aligned with the lid sensor. try it with out the top on.

I've checked the connections, and tried without the lid on! I just can't seem to get my Action Replay to notice an open lid. What I find most frustrating is the fact that if I poke my GC near where the chip itself is placed, everynow and then it works! ARRRRGHHH!! SO FRUSTRATING! Thanks for your help, and let me know if you get an idea!
