hey its homesick, i got suspended, but i am on another user to let you guys know that yes i can confirm that this is real. wow what is it close to a month before the release date?! there are gonna be some pissed off publishers about this one.

 

LOL, they just cant keep you away,LMAO! Anyway. Happy gaming, man. This game gonna rock. I bet M$ will start mass banning for those brave enough to play it on LIVE before the official release date.

not sure if anybody knows this one for sure but... could you get banned for having the game linked to your gamertag even if you didn't play on live?

if you played this game at a friends house (not connected to live) with your gamertag and then went home and tried to get on live with an un-modded 360, could you get banned?

 

I believe that the release date is nov. 7th, so we're really only like 2 weeks away, but still. This is pretty cool/crazy.

 

My nefarious ways have led me to think of 2 things u can do.
1- Make a offline gamertag and play the game, and make sure your disconnected from live.

2- keep your gamer tag play off line and CHANGE the consaoles date, as in 2008 dec 1st, etc, that way if your super concerned youll get achievements and atleast get teh achievments after rel date.

Personally games played before rel dates mean nothing, they would ban your console soley on PRESUMTION, andd that would harbor a lawsuit, they would need some sort of valid proof your console is modified.

ROFL, my buddy just got it and is playing it, MAN people are going to have a field day over this, luckily he burned me a copy and save me time to go home from work to download!

 

Yea, I'm concerned about getting achievements I guess I'll be switching up my console date, although Homesick has Fallout 3 achievements which always makes me smile when i see that...lol

I got fallout and fable and Saints rowII achievments but offline, havent been online for about 3 weeks, im tempted to go online tonight just to see WHAT date comes out for the fallout achievments, TONIGHT or the dummy dates.

 

They might not have the servers up yet. Let us know.

 

goodness, gears of war is such a good game.

 

Im a PC person myself (high end Wolfdale), but I cant help but LAUGH my a$$ off at this whole early release thing seeing how that gnome named CliffyB harped and lamented the eeeeeevils of piracy on the PC (and hence, his insistence that it would never..ever..EVER...arrive on PCs for that sole reason.
And here we are..Gears of War 2. Oy, how I do wish I could see the look on dear Cliffy's face, Oh the dripping irony!

(and I dont even own an Xbox360)

I've decided to wait 'til my homesick account is back from suspension, hopefully by then i will have learnt my lesson!

 

I didn't even see/read what happened why you were suspended in the first place.

Haha, that is awesome. I wish I could have seen that post. Honestly, sometimes, they do deserve it. Anyways, I love gears.

 

This game is BOMB, i had to force myself to stop after 2lvl 2 to go to bed and get up for work, MAN I cant wait till the servers are up and run with HORDE mode.
