integrated video are on there for good, but you can disable it in the bios, so it doesn't use the ram. i have the 6150LE on my motherboard, and it's disabled; that's 256mb free.

also, you will need to know what slot type you have (pci, agp, pci-e). download cpu-z 1.41 and run it. there's a tab (mainboard) that will list your motherboard and your slot type.

integrated video cards are with you forever, but you can turn them off to install other graphics cards. Its done in the BIOS and your motherboard manual will tell you how

it states that it has pci-e x16. so the nVidia 8600 series or ATi x1950 series will do; those are midrange cards. but if you plan on playing the new games, the nVidia 8800GT or ATi HD3870 is recommended; the top two high end cards.

also, you will have to swap the power supply to a higher watt, and high quality one, because the one supplied won't be able to handle the graphics card.

you will be looking at around $300-400 for the graphics card and psu, depending on what you get.

yes they are both video cards (GPU).

Geforce is a product of Nvidia, which manufacture GPUs.

the ones i suggest are ATI, whos product are Radeon.

Well, it's time to open your eyes! Ati make some very competitive product, and the HD3850 I highly recommend for excellent performance on a reasonable budget.

If you're after something cheaper than go for something like an X1950 Pro.

    Which country are you from?
In the UK the HD3850 is around £110, in the US it's about $170.

the ATi HD38xx series is one of the best graphics card out there right now; it's the rival to the nVidia 8800GT series. the HD3870 is the top of the line ATi, so it's going to be costly. the HD3850 is a lower model, but still one of the best.

Indeed, the HD3850 is a fast graphics card, and will probably set you back about $200CA. The 3870 is a very fast graphics card, and will probably cost a bit under $300CA.
Either of those cards could play any game you throw at them.
