I just had an offer to trade my GeForce4Ti4400 for a GeForceFX5200 (brand unspecified). Aside from the core chip, the only difference would be the lack of video-in capabilities which, although sucks, I can live without because i have a tv-tuner card that can do that anyways.

PURELY from a performance perspective (so lets keep the bias outta of here oki? :)), would it be worth it? From my brief rsearch of the FX5200, it seems my Ti4400 would take it to school. Or did i misread something?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]ASUS A7V8X-X, AMD2500+

Hi, i personally would stick with your TI card. In DX9 the 5200 may be optimised but it still gets pretty poor results and most games still have DX8.1 optimisation so your card will be good for a while yet. In any DX8.1 test i would be hella surprised if the 5200 got anywhere near yours!! If it was a 5600 that would be different.

Oh gosh yes if it were the 5600+ that would indeed be a different case. Unfortunately this is not the case.... :S
