I know little about cell phones. I have an audiovox cdm 8945. My battery went bad in about 6 months or so, most likely to playing games and watching shows on it, or maybe due to my car charger. I would like to purchase my next phone outside of verizon and just have them set it up, because I think I can find a good phone cheaper online. I think it has to be set up for their network though, is that cdm or cdma technology? What do I look for in a phone to be sure I can use it with my network/provider? I feel I would rather get a new phone than pay 40$ for the new battery for my phone. I like to play games and would love to be able to put games and shows from computer to my phone, although if it is going to kill the battery I may be able to do without.
I believe I need a CDMA phone for verizon. Does any have suggestions, I think I would like the GPS feature on the phone although not entirely necessary. What is a good verizon phone that has lots of features and does not cost more than like 150$?
