I own a Japanese PSP and have been thinking about purchasing an extended 2200 mAh battery for it, but I was wondering if I would need the Japanese version or not. I've bought one from a Canadian website believing it was a North American version, but it was a Korean battery and it quickly stopped working.

So my question is: If I buy a U.S. version one, will it work fine? Or should I buy a Japanese one? If there's a slightest compatability issue, I'll go for the Japanese version. Also, I don't want to shell out around $50.00 for nothing.

    Thanks for your time.

The batteries are universal, as far as I know.

    Thanks for replying, LeadBaron.

It appears that they're all universal, but because I've heard different views on the subject, I wanted to post here and see what you all have to say.

    Anyone else care to comment?
