get an error when defragmenting BURN FAILED AT 4x

    I get this error burn failed at 4x, why do i get that error? What does this mean?????? What could I do. Plus I need someone to help me, in dvd shrink when i backup the movie, i dont have the iso video file right, could someone tell me how to set it. I have it set to the C drive, thats not right. Can someone help me select a folder for temporary files, thanks.

    Just follow one of these guides and let us know how it worked out for you. Either the first or second should work for you.

    As to the error, it could be due to any number of things. It may disappear if you follow the guides above. Otherwise, post here again.

    For your burn error - What brand of discs are you using? Your burn error can be due to using poor quality media. Make sure you are using quality media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Sony and Fuji (last two look for made in japan). Make sure your firmware is up to date on your drive also.

    Thanks alot for your guys advice, that guide helped out and Im able to make backup copies without no problem. thanks so much.
