Don't deal with playvix, it's basically scumware. Delete anything you have related to it and do a malware scan. Stick to standard recognizable formats.
It's not that simple. The problem is that PlayVix is becoming a very popular format for encoding things. I personally have accumulated a rather large collection of PlayVix encoded material and I'm still looking for a way to convert these videos to another format. I agree that you shouldn't encode using PlayVix, but I'm looking for a way to convert to a different format.
ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I downloaded a 700 MB .avi file and it came up with the SHIT called playvix. It said i had to go to some website to download some software. My kaspersky said NO DON'T DO IT. so i didn't. (i opened up the .avi in VLC by the way) NOW. I don't want to waste 700 MB of download. IS THERE ANY WAY OF WATCHING MY DAMNED .AVI FILE Just a suggestion, maybe re-downloading the file will work, I've been crawling over internet forums and one guy reloaded an .avi file and the playvix shit wasnt there anymore. I dont want to waste another 700 MB of download. Sorry for the swearing and CAPS LOCK, I'm just annoyed and frustrated. PLEASE HELP.
