gettin told off

    Hi all kids have been playin with our starview box and left it on a test channel,i now have a message on the screen sayin i am viewing cable ileagly does anyone else have this should i worry?

    Hi daz there is a fraudulent user message on the cable but i haven't heard anything about this message coming up if you leave it on a test channel and seeing that as far as i know your box is totally passive you should be ok

    its a scare tactic they use to try and get you to stop using box nothing to worry about.

    In the main menu, go to "Factory Setting" and do a reset. The PIN is "0000".

    After this it will be like it's straight out of the box so you'll have to set the language and do a channel scan etc. Also go into the EMU setting etc.

    Once this is done your "test" channels will have disappeared and you will have the S*y channels in the right places and you will also find that you'll have some new channels, i.e. Alibi and Watch.
