So im planning on buying a new computer case. My current one is broken due to a baseball bat incident. My only concern is that i have never purchased a computer case before and want to know if i need to have like a special motherboard or something like that. my old case was one of those stock Compaq cases

and the motherboard is called a micro-ATX Form Factor and is 9.6 inches by 9.6 inches

so i if were to buy a new case would my motherboard just fit or would i need a special case that is like smaller than others

    Thanks

a standard tower case can take both micro atx(your board) or regular atx motherboard. the only thing to check if new case comes with psu is if power connector is same size or not as old psu for motherboard.
