...and I need some advice/a guide. The main project I want to work on that's video-related involves taking segments from a bunch of old VHS-C tapes of my band's performances and creating a nice DVD of some of the better stuff. I'm wondering how much RAM is sufficient, recommendations for Video/Capture cards, and anything else a total n00b might need to know. I realize the quality won't be great, but I really want to save this stuff. Help?
