I am very new at copying DVD's to blank DVD, so please
kind. LOL I ran CLONEDVD2 and watched entire movie
copied or ripped I guess is the word. Then at the end,
I received the message to insert blank media and then I
received the message that the movie failed to copy. The
message read something like the DVD might be dirty or
damaged but I cleaned all pieces involved and dusted my DVD/
/CD tray. But I watched the movie and there was nothing
wrong with it. Also, I have been getting the error message
on the Memorex blank tapes when I put them in. What brand
blank tapes should I be using?

Thanks so much for any input.

    Hey Roxie, welcome.

Can you provide us with a little more information. What kind of burner do you have? Please post the model.

The Memorex media that you are using is known to not be the best quality and often produces bad burns, commonly known here as coaster (cause that is all that they are good for). Memorex media has a knickname of Memosux. That's how bad it is.

You should visit the link in my sig for the link to bbmayo's guides and there you will find a guide for AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 (great programs).

We really need to know about your system so that we can better give you direction. Paste the log file from CloneDVD if you can.

I used to use memorex and had many troubles.

I only use Verbatim now. Most of the time I don't even have to verify that the movie did burn, I just store the original away without looking. Never had a bad verbatim yet

DVDGUY84, Its against forum rules to mulitpost the same question. I read your post on another thread. All I can suggest at this time is make sure you have the newest ANYDVD update. If that doesn't work then possibly Bewitched has another new version of encryption. If thats the case you just have to wait until Slysoft updates Anydvd again. It will happen fast as soon as they see the new encryption is out there.
