First you get either VSO Inspector http://www.vso-software.fr/products/inspector/inspector.php or DVD Identifier from: http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/ Once u get the info on your media u can either check After Dawn's great forums for info or go here for a quick take on the type/manufacturer: http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm The less people buy crap media the less stores will put them on their shelves... Win win for everyone.
