getting it to fit on DVDR

    I am currently trying to get the passion of the christ onto DVD+R. It came in xvid format so I converted it using cucusoft and it made 2 mpeg files. 1 file is 3.9GB and other is 2.2GB. When I run nero 7 premium and make a DVD it tells me that the 1 cd (3.9GB) is more than my 4.7GB dvds. I don't understand. Its already DVD format why is it trying to make the file even Bigger??? please help

    You would have been better off just dropping the xvid file straight into NeroVision Express and let it convert it itself. Then just burned the result to disc.
    You wouldn't have had the problem of 2 seperate files that way.
