Over the past few weeks, I've tried to encode 4 different movies using the Avi2Dvd program. The audio stream demuxes ok, writes fixed audio, then transcodes.

Then everything stops and I get the usual message from microsoft - "QuEnc has encountered a problem and needs to close" etc.

I've tried the 4 available encoders in the program, but the same error apears every time. I have uninstalled 0.4.4 and installed 0.4.5 beta but
    still getting the same error.

I hope someone can help me please, as I use this program for encoding multiple files onto a dvd.

Im running win xp sp2. Thanks in advance.

You've tried using HCenc (Best)? When using HCenc, QuEnc is not used at all. I even renamed as a test.

Thanks for your reply MysticE. Ive just tried it once again using HCenc, and yes, still getting the microsoft error message.

It also mentioned something on the HCenc page about "Error, Evaluate System exception; Access denied"

    Thanks again.
