installed Nero-7.2.0.3_eng_no_ytb from some bittorrent some time ago, when it began installing an msdos(i have no idea of what, why or how) appeared & the program worked for a short time. then the message "problem with nero.exe, must close"(or words to that effect) appeared & the progam never worked again.ive visited some forums that explained that all traces of nero must be wiped from the system which ive tried to do(including opening "run" with "RegEdit" & deleting all traces of "nero" & "ahead")but every time i try to delete the application, i get the error message "cannot delete Nero-7.2.0.3_eng_no_ytb: it is being used by another person or program". i tried to reinstall the program from different sites including nero's own site with no success. the 2 problems i now have is :
    1)can i ever reinstall a nero 7 program(paid or not)
2)how can i get rid of the Nero-7.2.0.3_eng_no_ytb application icon.
many thanx for any help in advance

thanx for the reply, i downloaded and ran General-CleanTool_2_1_5_17 but it still doesnt delete the application icon, still get the error message "Error Deleting File or Folder - cannot delete nero-7.2.0.3_eng_no_ytb: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again"

It sounds like Nero is being autoloaded somehow. Do a Ctrl+Alt+Delete and look in your task manager under processes tab for Nero and do an end process. It should kill it off, and let you run the clean tool. It should show up as Nero.exe or NeroStartSmart.exe. It might give you some warning message saying killing off a program this way might cause problems, but do it anyway.
    Give that a try.
