I'm reloading XP and will have a Raid 0 array with 3 partitions. Partition 1 - 10GB for XP
Partition 2 - 30GB or so, for drivers and programs
    Partition 3 - about 450GB for storage.

Question: I'll be transferring alot of VHS tapes to DVD. Some of those VHS tapes are extended play, or about 6 hours in length.
If I install Nero 6 OEM Suite on partition 2, is it possible to use Nero to work on my video editing on partition 3, where there is the most space. Or do I need to install Nero on partition 3 if that's where I want to do my encoding, downloading and editing of video files?
    Thanks
    HC

Why are you setting up a RAID 0 array? You know that you essentially double your probability of failure, and that if one drive fails, you lose everything. If you need the little bit of extra performance RAID 0 provides, at least go with a RAID 0+1 array.

Anyway, it doesn't matter where you install Nero. If you are using Nero Vision for capturing and reencoding, you can change the temporary directories using the More->Configuration buttons. However, you may have a problem with other apps if you install them on a drive other than the C: drive. I advise having Windows and programs on the same partition and keeping the data partition separate.
