I just got my Xbox and am trying to get started with a mod chip and just don't exactly know where to start. What is the best mod chip to get and what else do I need to do with that. Start simple cus I'm just learning. Thanks for any help that can be offered
First you will need a chip compatible with your Xbox. What chip depends on you and what you want to be able to do. Spend some time doing research on what features each chip has. And of course ask around before ordering one to see how good the seller is. Alot of shady sites out there. Then you'll need to install and flash the chip with a hacked bios like the EvoxM7 or X2 4977 bios. Now you can load unsigned "homemade" disc's in your Xbox. If you plan on backing up anything on the harddrive then upgrading the harddrive would be a good choice. Just swap in your harddrive and use one of the Auto Installers like Slayers or Team Xavier's and it will do the rest for you. RustyDog
