I'm recovering from stroke and have tried for quite some time to get two different marching band shows to vob. It seems that vob files will play on my TV's DVD player (Magnavox. I have both shows on a disk that was sampled down from from three two hour VHS tapes to a single disk. I had no problem extracting '83 show. '84 up until I saw a suggestion the moderator gave another member and tried it. It worked. I now have both years shows, but one is in wmv and will not
come through on my TV. Any ideas? *email removed by mod*
    THANKS

Very few DVD players can read WMV files. Unless you have one of the players that can you'll need to convert to a format you're player can read. If you're not sure what your players capabilities are I'd recommend reading its manual and checking out the database at Videohelp.com (http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers).

It's also against the forum rules to post your email. I'll remove that for you.

I have three marching band shows on one disk that are vob. The other show on another disk is in divx. I guess either need to be matched to the others format.
What is a way to do that?
