Giga pocket program. Does it work at all?

I have a computer that's about 5 years old give or take. A friend at work told me how he watches tv on his computer and got me interested in doing the same. After a little net surfing I found out that I could do the same all along my problem is I really don't have the time or money to buy a new tv capture card or mess with the machine if I don't have to.after time with google I found that I could watch tv as well as record shows with this GigaPocket program I have on my machine unfortunately it will not pick up the cable channels off my set top box (although Sony saya it should) my question to all is anyone out there familiar with this program? And if so some kind words of instruction would greatly be appreciated NBA playoffs have started and if I can't get theis to work I'm gonna miss some gret games this season. HELP ANYONE PLEASE!!! thanks to all who help!!
