gmail notifier in the dock?

    ok so i downloaded the most recent version of gmail notifier and i saw pics of it showing up in the dock... but on install it only showed up in the taskbar... did i do something wrong, or is there some setting that needs changing?

    open up your applications folder.. drag the icon of the application onto the dock.. that will do it for you..

    really, are u sure? cause it doesnt seem to work properly as far as a realtime email coutn and whatnot...

    you said taskbar? as far as i know.. macs dont have taskbars.
    i could be wrong.. but i'm pretty sure on this one.

    sorry. not following about the top part..
    if its on the desktop.. you can drag that onto the dock..
    if its in the hard drive icon.. in your applications folder. grab that and stick that on your dock
