Today my package shipped after about 1 and a half weeks via xpress mail. Now it's all the way in Canada! LOL, should've guessed for what I paid, and don't rely on the shipping status on their site, it's about 5 days off... Just hope it gets here in good condition. Oh yeah, I live in California in the U.S, so it may take a while to get here from Canada.

go Cybershop-I just bought a flip top and sm3 from them last week and being that im a newbie i wasnt aware of all the tricks these companies run(resellers and software )I got the sm3 and burned about 10 coasters (80 min cds), recheck the forums and got to a post in here that says you have to get breaker pro to run the games(80 min cds), i call to gcs to check with the sales guy, he told me sm3 only uses (74 min cds)and he never heard of the product breaker pro("while im looking at it on their website")last thing i heard online is you dont even need sm anymore,i really feel like a sucker here, cause before i ordered my wife bet me $100 that ill have to buy a mod chip to get the sm3 to really work, all this for my 8 year old to stop scratching the discs, now ,im a pawnbroker and i can really hustle a product out of a sellers hand for next to nothing, but i see i was hustled this time, id really like to know though , with the sm3 ive got to have cd boot loader v7 and the pro breaker(3 disc swap???)if so im throwing the sm3 in the trash and getting a mod cause my son can hardly remember how to tie his shoes much less a 3 disc swap!!!!! sorry for venting as a newbie PEACE

dontuknow, its true you need breaker pro to run 80 min disks; and they actually sell breakerpro @ gocybershop, although it's not easiler found through a search. However, do you require 80 min disks for the games you wish to backup?

Oddly enough, I have smd v2.0 with a v7/8 Ps2 and I only have 80 min disks which run fine for my backups...?

And if you're going to get a modchip, you may as well get rid of the smds and get a no swap chip then, as it is far more convienent and you are ready to open up the ps2.

I ordered smd's from this site, and had pretty much all the same problems: old shipping status, bad customer service, etc. but I did eventually get my package. the people running the site may suck but xpress post was really fast with the shipping. I'd say all the hassle is definitely worth it considering the money you save.

Yes, for that price DMS3 is worth the hassle. Hey, dontuknow, I'm pretty sure the sm disks are supposed to work with 80min cdrs. At least the smd v.2s worked, that should mean the v.3s should work. If you still can't work them, save ur time some hassle, sell or return ur disks and go for a noswap modchip. As you know, I'm getting the DMS3, but you don't have to go that expensive if you're only going to backup a couple games. I'd suggest getting the Magic 3.1, some places offer it for $20. P.S. MAKE THIS THE LONGEST REVIEW TOPIC EVER! lol

Well, my chip STILL hasn't arrived. I know it's out of Canada now, but there's NO way to track it because they only gave me a Canada tracking #, lol. Well I hope it gets here soon. I also have to buy a new 7 pin ribbon cable cause mines all bent up when I was taking my old V4 No Swap Modchip out... Bad, bad luck.

I've ordered from them numerous times since way back - 1996. Sometimes they can be slow, but the've grown in leaps in bounds... they always come though for me. I deal with a guy named Jason.

Don't beleive everything you hear on the internet!

I have purchased from them all the time, and I think there great... the company has come along way, definitely the cheapeast. Xpresspost shipping kinda sucks to California, so i only use Overnight service now. i think i said this already...

I know they have hired more staff to handle the call volumes etc... I hope this info helps others.

I have ordered many times from GoCybershop and most times I have received my orders within 1 week after ordering. I ordered the swap magic discs 2.0 with the slide card and they work great. They came within 3 days after I ordered. The tracking number was posted the day after I ordered and I was able to track the package all the way to where I live. I recently received the new magic disc 3.0 and it had a huge crack in it. I emailed them with the problem and they emailed me back within a few days telling me that as soon as they receive the cracked CD they would send me a new one. I sent it back and the day they received it (I tracked it) they sent an email telling me that they will send out a new one as soon as they get them in stock. ETA is February 19, so being it's past that I figure I should get it soon enough. I will definitely order from them again. You can't beat those prices on their items!!!

    I recently had a problem with a Magic V 50k
The folks at GoCyberShop replaced it in a reasonable amount of time without much fuss.

    I was pleasantly surprised.

I had a problem with a magic chip... I returned it, they gave a new one, no questions asked - even gave me more solder and new wires.

I went to modchip canada and they had pictures of fake chips... just to check up on the magic chips I ordered..

gocybershop modchips are definitely real, same chips as modchip.ca and definitelty way cheaper.

If you want a clone, they have it listed as a clone for cheaper.

    And from above:

If you own the site, why did your "order" take 5 days to arrive? Sounds like a scam to me guys. Also, it's against the forum rules to advertise here.
