Hello all. I am having a problem with both my God of War and God of War 2 discs. When I try to save my progress at any save spot on either game it acts like its gunna save and then gives me an error cannot save. My memory card is a SONY 8MB card (offical). I've read about corrupt files causing this so I didn't waste time and formated the MC blank with mckiller app. I then started the game(s) up and tried to save and still got the same error. All my other games save fine with no problems. Here's the funny thing. The first day I played GOW1 it saved. Then the next time I went to open it is when the problems all started. Anyone having this issue or know a solution? Should I try a different brand memory card? Can anyone recomend a better brand MC? Is there some kinda trick to get it to work? I wanna cry cause those games are so damn fun and I have to start over everytime........ YUK! Thanks. -N4
I got the same problem! Is it possible for the game to have some kind of copy protection? I use a ps2 Slim and I believe none of my friends using the same copy have this problem. If you find out how to fix this please let me know.
Actually I ended up getting a 64Mb MAX memory card. Both games saved perfectly to it. I guess there is something with the Sony card. I hope that works for you.
Thanks! I'll try that and see what happens. If I keep getting this error message I'll just buy the game! I'm shure that will end my problem...
