God of War - Double Layer?!

    simple question: is there any way to backup the game to a normal dvd+r double layer disc? or is the ps2 (with swap magic) just able to read dvd-r?

    Swap Magic cant read Doublr Layer disks. You need to get this game to fit to a dvd5. Do a search and youll find how to!

    Yeah or be smart enough to find and get a version
    where someone has already done the work for you :)

    you don't understand! i don't want a rip or a downsampled rip, i want a 1:1 copy of my original game!

    You cant make a straight 1 to 1 copy and burn to dual layer as it wont read with Swap Magic. U need to follow the instructions in the sticky thread mentioned above!

    yes, to play a 1:1 copy of a dual layer game you
    will need a good mod chip. Then it is no different
    then doing a single layer with DVD Decryptyer
