Yea i'm new to video capturing and i just can't get it to work i'm rinning an asus v9280 which is a deforce ti 4200. I can get video to capture but i can't get itto work. When i capture video the sound is off and then video is either slow or faster then the sound, that is if it works at all. I'd like it if someone told me some good software and some good codecs to accomplish what i'd like to do.

Well What type of PC do you have Cuz it sounds Like you Problems Might be Performance related...And when it comes to Video capture devices There are very Few Brands that make a Good Graphics Card/Capture card Combo"s ,Actually Out of all of the Graphics/Capture combo cards I have Tried only the ATI All In Wonder Type Cards were the only ones that were any good...
