good program

    Hi I'm trying to back up some dvd tv series to my hard drive in avi format, to save some space. So I was wondering what the best program to do so, in terms of quality would be?

    Previously I used auto gurdian knot (sp?) with divx

    I use autogk also its great and there is an updated version just out like in the last 5 days. I rip the movies to hd then convert.

    I'm using Pocket DVD Studio, choose it b/c it's highly recommended by my friend and it turns out to be exactly what I want. But google the best converter that suits you before you try out any.
