I'm looking to make a short video where I take still images and have them fly from the background into the foreground, sit there for a second or two, then have them fly off the screen to make way for the next image. Kinda like the old "Flying Windows" screensaver. Anybody know of a good program to do this with? It'd be nice to be able to put some sound fx in there too, like a swoosh and a slam noise for each picture, but that'd just be extra. Thanks ahead of time!
i think any program capable of making a slideshow can do that, with many other effectst too, try windows movie maker, or dvdsanta. try this guide if you are going to use dvd santa http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/put_slide_show_on_dvd_dvdsanta.cfm Also you could try Pro Show Gold - http://www.photodex.com/ i've never used it but i always see people reccomending it so you might want to give it a shot.
adobe premiere pro could do this, though its way overkill probably, and costs ~$500. or there's also above after effects as well.
