yea i remember before the 360 came out and i was doing the normal xbox i took a long break because i just couldnt take it anymore...

 

The reason ps2menace is leaving is because the pattern breaks.
Here is an example:


Memeber< 2 memebers< each one of those members help 2 more
PS2menace<
Memeber< 2 memebers< each one of those members help 2 more

The problem is once people get thier questions answered they leave the forums instead of helping others which leaves the seasoned members like ps2menace to answer the questions that have been answered many times before. The newbies who ask the questions aren't to blame they just need an answer to thier questions the same thing happens on the psp forums. But don't let it get to you, just ignore it instead of leaving AD.

 

I dont think there is much point complaining about piracy. People who do that have always been a large part of afterdawn forums.

 

And that's precisely the problem.. People like that should be clamped down on, not accepted. >.<

 

I know this sounds harsh but I would love to see temp bands given to the newbies that have a thread title "Help Me Plz" or along the lines of that... Or when they aak a question that has been sticked... even a 1 day ban or something.. it is just outrageous! Well I am in the Airport on my way to Panama so peace out for the next 4 weeks!

 

That may be good for you personally but not Afterdawn. I'm pretty sure if that happened alot of people would not come here or stay. When I see newbs on other forums asking a bunch of questions that don't get answered I kindly refer them to this site. I think we all were once in a newb stage one time or another, so just cut them some slack.

Hi, as a noob whose been using this site for the past 3 years, it has really helped me sort out a lot of problems on my xbox, ps2 and pc. It's definitely sad to see good people leave. And I've personally not come across a better forum.

 

This forum is amazing. When I was searching on google for my answers this forum would always come up. Then someone told me about this site and it hit me that I was on it all the time. Then I became a member. I really started using google, and if an answer is somewhere on the world wide web it will come up. Do the same here, because a few weeks ago it really disapointed a friend and I to see all the ridiculous question like "Can you play burned games online?" Come on, but w/e what are you going to do. Not everyone in this world thinks the same. There's gonna be the people who do the wrong thing, and peope who do the right thing.

 

Before I became a member of AD, I searched Google for a lot of PS2 related stuff and this site would come up almost every time. At the time, I wasn't really familiar with a forum board, so I kept saying "why does this site keep coming up in the results!!" lol So when I actually started to read a few posts, I had a feeling that this was THE site, and the people make it great too! If it weren't for this site and it's members, I wouldn't know how to backup PS2 games and DVD movies, and I've learned a lot more than just knowing how to backup a disc while on here too.

It does get annoying when new members ask the same question without looking, and that's why I'm not around as much anymore too. I'm trying to keep active here regardless, just gotta take it easy.
