I just got a new laptop with windows 8 installed, I do not want to use IE8 so I installed Google chrome and set up all my pages/home pages etc - everything worked fine. Turned computer off, turned it back on an hour later tried to start google and nothing, nothing loads - it shows the loading icon and then that disappears and I have nothing - I have waited and nothing, restarted and nothing - tried everything... Anyone have any ideas?
Okay, whatever - Ie9 or Ie10 matters not, point is I cant get any version of Google chrome to work...
Try this App and see if it helps get your Google Chrome back for you. http://www.google.com/homepage/windows8/
Don't use google chrome is like a virus that you get when you install shareware or programs like realplayer, is a simple browser is just popular because it comes prepackaged. The best browser for me is OPERA even firefox has copied some of its functionality, the tab stacking feature is unique of opera.
chrome is like a virus?where on earth did you come up with that.ive got it and havent seen any realplayer or anything else for that matter.chrome is fast and simple, but far from a virus.lay off the drugs.
of course you got it it's all over the 9inch yard, google pays these companies to let them package chrome with their software it's like spam. In fact if you're not careful you will eventually have it installed on your computer by accident.
whoops there it is.sorry to have intruded into your world.of course nobody pays to have their software packaged with other software.im sorry, was that sarcasm?so,that makes it a virus eh?
I switched from Yahoo to Google Chrome and never have any problems any more.Sounds like someone has lost some of the marbles in their head.If you have anything else added when you use Google Chrome it is because you did it to yourself.

i have no problems running Chrome on Windows 8. If you're experiencing issues, try running Chrome in compatibility mode for Windows 7. Right click your Chrome shortcut and select Properties. Click the compatibility tab, tick the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows 7. Regards, Berry Martin
