HI, Im in Ireland , Mayo , and just bought a Arnet krypview a700c with an antenna[27db gain ]a bit big ? and downconverter , power supply.im with NTL mmds . Can someone help me as i cant get anything , it say bad or no signal . the box is set for ireland with the update from 04-04-08. have i wrong reciever or antenna ? .
Hi whitespur, I haven't tried setting up a complete MMDS config from scratch yet, but will be doing it soon. So maybe I'm not the right person to help, but I'll try. Your question "have i wrong receiver or antenna?" seems to be the best place to start. To figure this out I recommend you find a friend in your area who has a working MMDS config set-up (even if it is a proper paid subscription). Then, A. Try connecting your receiver in his house. B. Take his receiver and connect it up in your house. Either A or B will fail thus isolating the problem. Fingers crossed that both A & B don't fail!
