Grab album title from track and artist (and length?)

    Hey,

    I know of a few programs that will grab the album title if you have all the tracks from the album. But I only have a few songs here and there from each album.

    Is there any program or method to automatically fill in the album tag based on a freedb query of the track and artist (and possibly length?)

    unfortunately for the freedb databases to find an album and tag it, you need all the tracks in the album. the online databases work by calculating the lengths of all the tracks in the album to figure out which artist/album you have.

    AutoTag in WinAmp can find a lot of single songs. Not always 100% on the right album (a lot of 'best ofs' instead of the original album).
