Gran Turismo 4 : Double Layer

hey there,
can anybody tell me, if there are any known problems to backup my copy of gran turismo 4 to a double layer dvd disc? is a rebuild necessary? thanks, buddys

 

Not if you have a mod chip that can boot dl disc

 

Well, you don't need to rebuild if 1. You have a dual layer burner. 2. Your mod chip can read double layer backups.

Actually, I think you need to patch GT4 to work on a Double layer disc.

 

and where can i get such a patch?

sly_61019 is right. To properly play your DVD9 (DVD+R DL) backup you'll need the Toxic Pacth for GT4. Go here http://www.ps2-scene.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=36239 and scroll down a little bit, you'll see it after the first reply. It's on a Zip file, but you'll need to join/be a member in order to download.
