Return to Liberty City in June Rockstar's best-selling PSP game gets a firm release date on the It's been four and a half years since PS2 owners first visited Liberty City, and now Rockstar has invited them back. On June 6, Liberty City Stories will make the transition from PSP to PlayStation 2. The console version will feature the same storyline and missions as the handheld, with an MSRP of $19.99. As yet, Rockstar has not made any announcements about any additional content being included. Grand Theft Auto III, set in Liberty City, revolutionized the games industry when it arrived in 2001. If you're feeling nostalgic, head back to your old stomping grounds June 6.
hope they do a good job, if they do not upgrade the graphics and gameplay it will be a real dissapointment. But i will surely get it anyway.
I wouldn't expect it to look any better than Vice City maybe San Andreas if we are lucky. But it's suppost to be out this Monday/Tuesday I think.
well even at $19 i still think it's going to be an awsome game,the price is just marketing,trust me there sales will be threw the roof because of it,on the contarary,i'm not sure how much the ps2 can put out,so you guys have a point,if the game is as big as san andreas,then the chances are the graphics won't be much better...but i guess i'll just have to wait and see,unless of course they use the same level,gta3 was pretty small level,liberty city doesn't take long to drive around compared to san andreas,but the only thing i'm dissapointed with is that,the game comes out in just over a month,but yet there is no screenshots,guess there saving everything for e3 hey...anyways i'm still gonna buy it,cuase at $19 it's a bargain
I don't think Rockstar will show it at E3 because it's nothing that new. They are just trying to milk the GTA series for even more money which will work. I will def give it a play but they are simply releasing it for PS2 because millions of ppl own PS2,they can quickly port it from PSP to PS2 which means they can make millions off of a game with little work.
yes your right...it'll make them tons of cash,because the gta series is basicly a trademark for the ps2,and yeah milions will buy it...but i wouldn't be to sad,cuz it's only $19,and i can't help but think there defianantly going to make something for the ps3,but have they already started or are they waiting more sony's final release dev kits,to make a new gta even better...? i think it must be tuff working for a game company,and while your worrking on a game everybody wants you have to keep ur mouth shut and act like you know nothing about it...mmm they should make a program,"a day in teh life of a game maker" (A rockstar north production)..... just to sum it up,i can't wait for Liberty City Stories for ps2
on planet gta's website,they announced that they will be at E3 checking out anything GTA and rockstar prodcutions,rockstar already released their table tennis game(LOL!!!) so why woiuld planet gta say there gonna be at E3,maybe rockstar is gonna show liberty city for p2...mm i can't wait... http://planetgrandtheftauto.gamespy.com/?vo=16
